Help us put a smile on a child’s face!
A child’s smile is priceless, but if the child suffers from malocclusion, it can be very embarrassing to him/her/them. We all know of the benefits of orthodontic treatment, but it isn’t always within the reach of everyone who can benefit from it. That’s where you and Smiles4Canada come in.
Volunteering at Smiles4Canada will not only benefit children in need of orthodontic care but will also enrich your personal and professional life, making it a profoundly rewarding experience.
By providing free orthodontic treatment to children in need, you can significantly improve their quality of life and self-esteem.
Volunteering at Smiles4Canada is part of a broader effort to improve the lives of children and contribute to building a healthier, happier society.
Volunteering helps spread awareness about the importance of oral health and orthodontic care, encouraging parents and communities to prioritize dental health in their children’s lives.
Volunteering at Smiles4Canada will enhance your reputation in the community and among potential patients who appreciate your commitment to giving back.
Smiles4Canada is a program run by the Canadian Foundation for the Advancement of Orthodontics (CFAO) in conjunction with the Canadian Association of Orthodontists (CAO). This program provides orthodontic care for low-income young Canadians who would otherwise not receive treatment. The care is provided on a voluntary basis by orthodontists like you, who are willing to give of your time to put a smile on a child’s face.
Prospective patients apply to Smiles4Canada. The application is assessed against financial and other criteria and ensures the applicant is worthy of treatment through the program.
